Peace Accelerators is A community of ethical futurists collaborating to make a conflict free and sustainable humanity for future generations.
we focus on 3 Long term operations - Farms not Arms, Evolve, and Revel - that reflect the three different Paths to peace - action, awareness, and celebration.
Farms Not Arms
What would happen if we spent our military budget building sustainable farms in conflict zones?
We believe all humans deserve access to healthy food. With the number of displaced people on the rise, global food insecurity is at an all-time high such fundamental rights like food are the first to disappear when war and political conflicts arise. Our aim is to plant the seeds of peace by helping war victims achieve food security. Farms Not Arms is starting in Lebanon, the country with the highest percentage of refugees in the world.
We accept this challenge as an opportunity to bring people and ideas from across the world together to co-design solutions to some of the most complex problems surrounding food production and self-sufficiency. Farms Not Arms centers refugee voices in the design process. Together with the Syrian community, 'Farms Not Arms' aims to promote self sufficiency, share modern agricultural techniques, and help develop income-generating activities.
How can we embed peace into our culture through the press, media, and arts?
"I truly believe the only way we can create global peace is through not only educating our minds, but our hearts and our souls." — Malala Yousafzai
Peace comes from within us all and Evolve is version one of our “Peace Virus” that is slowly infecting the human population on Planet Earth. Through community events, social media, movies, and press we educate and influence the public on a more wholesome and empathic path through life. The content generated is rooted in data and quantitative analysis to give the general public perspectives on various issues in the world, provide hope but still highlight that more work is needed. We encourage you to contemplate the role you choose to play for our planet.
What Will the world look like when Peace is the most celebrated holiday around the world?
The International Day of Peace (IDP) takes place every year on September 21st. Set by the UN to provide a globally shared date for humanity to commit to Peace above all differences and contribute to building a culture of Peace. It is Operation Revel’s mission is to turn this day into the first ever globally celebrated holiday, practiced in every country, every culture, and every soul around the world.
We believe that Peace should be fun and enjoyable to make it viral and inclusive to everyone. That’s why our IDP event called We Are One Species is a party not a boring conference.
